- Concentrate on timelines, budget control, uplifting, suggesting and/or creating process/systems to meet needs of planning process
- Create structures to fill roles for all involved. Analyzing and uplifting the strengths of those involved in the planning process and accountability measures will ensure a successful event. As in all aspects of the “work”, developing key relationships necessary to grow from each event is crucial.
- Developing follow through strategies and key tactics will be addressed in this piece of the work to maintain relationships and create a repertoire lists for future endeavors
In an era of mobilizationing that burns people out we know that authentic community engagement is the basis of the power each organization is looking to build. So many organizations are spending time, energy and money engaging folks in outreach without considering inreach. Every effort to bring community together is based on developing relationships. Building community is crucial in creating trust that is necessary for all in movement work to feel and embrace what is being done. The world playing out around us is creating divides that are detrimental to creating and maintaining successful, whole relationships.
These skills are necessary for building a strong bases, especially for each individual to own their role in the organization’s power base. Meeting people where they are at as opposed to where you need them to be, is the key. Being absolutely transparent with bringing out their self interest in the work, will determine where engagement levels lie, and will result in genuine relationships. Developing trust, respect and appreciation for everyone involved will create the team that we must build to create the changes we need in our communities. Tactics, as well as strategies will be addressed and brought about in this training.

Next Level Consulting provides coaching services for organizations doing great community work. We have experience directing, training and supporting staff, and we understand how easy it is for folks to get off track. Training is essential but all of us will fall back into unproductive habits without accountability. We not only train folks but hold them accountable to what they have been trained in through coaching and organizational development.
The work of creating change for our communities can bring about many strategies, and also many emotions. Remembering that the passion, dedication, and the reasons for the work you have taken on is key and there are times where we need to be uplifted when it gets too much. Just as a coach empowers, uplifts, and holds their team accountable in achieving the goals of the team, the coach needs to be uplifted as well! - Create Leadership Development Plans for Staff and Leaders
- Consult Leadership on the structures and accountability mechanisms that are driving the work
- Uplift, suggest, create systems to maintain successful strategies where the work, the people, and the coach are whole.
Follow Through
Next Level will continue to foster the relationship past the “work” and be available for you. We are fully aware of how trainers come in, do their thing and then are gone. We are in this for the long haul and will continue to be a support system.
